Roads have been re-opened so we were back at Creve Coeur Lake. tonight  3 PR's, and new C2 course record by Scott & Steve.  Everyone was pushing pretty hard tonight.  Also updated the team record set on 5/14 by Bob Parr, Logan & Tom Ponche.

Perfectly calm / flat conditions tonight.  7 or 8 total racers.  PR's for Aaron & Denise and Denise again bested her own course record.

Wind kicked up just before the start, but that didn't stop more PRs from happening.  John T. improved his PR by 8 seconds.  Scott & Dott broke their own CR/PR in the UNL2 V8 double.  Good luck to them in the SD Fort to Field race this weekend.  Hope you get great weather.

What is the course definition? Are you just sticking within 30ish ft from shore?

Hi Jon, it's a loosely defined counter-clockwise lap around the lake.  We start at the south boat ramp and end about 100 yards past it.  Self timing via GPS is suggested particularly for anyone who posts top times / records.  It's on your honor timing..  Given the light turnout we havent had any timing disputes yet but if we do we'll simply refer to GPS tracks / screenshots / pictures as the source of truth.

Had some downtime at work and decided to pull up pro paddler.  Looks like Mr. Marble may be constructing something Smiley

you're a good detective.  But yes, with all the new raceowl additions, I was thinking that the CCL 5K might be a good tester. I was going to put RaceOwl to the test within the week by myself and then, if folks are willing, try it out with everyone on some Tuesdays.

I had to skip, but John and Russ (and maybe others) swung the blades.

Nice cooler temps, a bit breezy, but still cranked out some PRs. I think we had around 15 total racers.

Looks like Denise & Jeff P.R. Angus and maybe others kept the SMOD alive this week.

About 10 paddlers tonight, the regular crew.  Nice temps, little choppy.  Scott & Tom blitzed the field and lowered the men's unlimited tandem CR.

10 or so racers tonight.  Wind made PRs tough to get.  I don't know if he recorded a time, but Matt W. ran away from the field in his pedal drive spider boat which was fun to watch.

Storms cleared out and left outstanding conditions for the 5k.  10-ish paddlers, the usual suspects.  PR's & CR's you bet!  Denise again lowered her CR / PR for women's K1.  Message me any updates / corrections.

Turnout of about 6 or 7 tonight.  Nice temps but the lake was a bit of a washing machine.

6 or 7 racers tonight on a nice calm lake, the usual crew.  2 PR's and 2 CR's - several folks are peaking right on queue for the MR340 which unfortunately got delayed again until next month.

Great evening to be on the water.  10-ish paddlers.  Scott & Dott bested their own mix course record.  Thanks to John M. for letting us test some of his shiney / tippy new boats.

Awesome weather tonight for the 5k.  We had the usual crew of 10 or so paddlers.  Multiple PRs and CRs.  Matt & Betty the pedal / paddle drive boat smoked the field again.  Feel free to send me times and I'll update the sheet.
