Hopkins built OC-1 is back for sale!

I think Bryan built this in around 2013.  I’m about the 4th owner.  Great boat for the 340 and I believe it’s finished the 340 a couple times.  I used it in the 340 in 2014 but a problem of my own doing caused me to miss the first cutoff.   I used it in the South Dakota Challenge in 2015 and 2016.  Great boat for that race because when you hit a sandbar (you will!) you just stand up and walk it to deeper water!  I still used it for several lake training runs the past two years to supplement my C-1 training.   Still a solid boat and great starter boat for someone.   It needs nothing except water.   Those that have used it have enjoyed it and moved on to other craft, Tony Nelson to a Riverhawk,  me to a GRB C1, Bryan to….
Bryans own story about it is here: http://www.rivermiles.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1332019969

Its always been stored inside.  As Bryan mentioned, its light.  I have no problem loading it myself onto a Suburban.

This boat needs a new home.  I will include my roof brackets that will work with any factory installed crossbars – I’ve used them on Suburbans and a Tahoe with no issues. I will include (if needed) a special ‘hitch hauler’ that works with any small vehicle that has a small (1” square) receiver hitch.  The back boat support on this device is about 4 feet behind the rear bumper.  I can provide pictures of both to interested parties.   I can also include delivery from central Wisconsin to anywhere along the Minneapolis, Des Moines, Omaha, Lincoln corridor in mid-May.   I’d like to get $500 - $600 but will consider offers, especially if you’re willing to pick it up.   Would consider trade for small, running Honda motorcycle.     Call if you want… 71 five- six 2 seven – 2 six 11.  Dave

The boat shows up right at the start of this South Dakota Challenge video.   Yes, that's your very own Hogan Haake wandering around and pushing me off.

Sold!  After spending a couple years in Wisconsin, she's back in Missouri in the hands of a very capable paddler!
