I am interested in running this race but will be going solo and will need help with transportation once there (shuttling kayak and myself).  Anyone going that can help?

It is common for folks to work together to find shuttles together and help each other out.

You'll find someone if you keep looking.

Hey all-

I'm looking at logistics for this and trying to decide whether to stay in KC or Boonville the night before.

Have a friend in KC that can garage my boat, but would rather not have to get up at 0-dark-thirty the next morning.

Has anyone had a problem with leaving a boat on the rack overnight at Booneville?  Where do people mostly stay?  Casino? Holiday Inn Express? Cardboard box under the overpass?

Thnx,

Terry

Anyone who wants to secure their boat at my place in Columbia is welcome. I am 8 minutes from I-70 and about 30 min from the start. I have mad dogs and a former Marine on the property Cheesy

I'm looking for someone to drive my car from the start to Jeff City.  I live in Springfield Mo, unfortunatly I have to be in KC on Friday for 12 hour day of work, then drive directly to the Lamine Access for some sleep.  It would be a great relief to have that problem taken care of before I cross the finish line...Thanks

My  shuttle partner is in Mexico on vacation.  I can maybe help with a shuttle. I'd like to have a car in Jeff city and can shuttle back one other boat after the race.   Just need a ride and boat shuttle Friday night from Jefferson City to Lamine.

Hi

I will be doing the Freedom Race in a solo canoe without support, so I am looking for someone to shuttle me or my car one way.  I will be there early on Friday so detail could be worked out.  So if you want to watch the race while using someone else's car let me know.

Thanks

Dave

I will be in Jefferson City on Friday for the race and could make arrangements to meet you at Noren Saturday AM to shuttle a car to the start and leave one at the finish.

Hi Chris

I will most likely be in New Franklin on Friday not to far from the start in Lamine.  So if I drop off canoe and equipment and drive to the finish we could come back to the start in one car.  Is that what you were thinking?  I can only haul on boat and need to get back to Franklin for Sat night.

I sure we can work something out.

Dave

Why don't you contact me at davekarnis@gmail.com and I can send you my Phone #

Hey All,

The second spot on my rack is spoken for, but after race I'm headed back to the start to drop off my friend's boat at his truck and will have space in the Jeep for one extra person, or two if you're really friendly.

If anybody doesn't get their shuttle situation resolved before hand and needs a ride back to pick up a car, hit me up before or after the race.

Shoot me a text or go old school and just look for the tired old guy headed toward the big white Jeep Rubicon.

Hi

Still looking for shuttle help.  Someone to shuttle my car to finish or a ride back from the finish to the start.  I will be in an 17 ft solo racer so I could possible shuttle another boat on my 52 in wide roof rack.  If you can help or need help contact me.  Iew Franklin Friday.

I will be signing up the morning of the race at Booneville.  Will there be shirts available to buy at that time if I decide I need another shirt?

Went to check the batteries in my GPS this afternoon and they went dead as soon as I powered it up.

Must be a sign that I'm as practiced up as I'm going get.

Looking forward to Saturday!

I had a great time at my first Freedom Race learning more about that section of the Missouri River. I appreciate all the great information from those I paddled with Dr Gina Bradley, The Iconic Blistered Sisters whose team name has been a long time favorite glad to finally meet them especially thank Wayne Lockyer for paddling the last 40 plus miles with me.It was also great to meet Joe's folks and to share the same nickname as his Dad.
