Ladsurfski has seven demo boats loaded and ready to go for the HD5K tonight including the Epic V7, V8, V8 Pro, V10 Sport, V10, V8 Double and V10 Double.

HD5K race starts at 6pm with free demo afterwards. If you are bringing your own boat a JCPRD boat permit is required.

Awesome race last night! We had 26 people racing in 18 boats and 6 SUPs with 13 new divisional personal bests and 3 new divisional course records including Aleksandar Tasic setting a new course record in the Men’s Solo K1 division paddling the Epic K1 Legacy Kayak with a time of 24:11 (7.74 mph), Mira Doneva & Ron Ladzinski setting a new course record in the Mixed Tandem K2 division paddling the Epic V10 Double Surf Ski with a time of 24:22 (7.68 mph), Ryan Slebos setting a new course record in the Men’s Solo OC1 division single blading the River hawk OC1 with a time of 26:36 (7.04 mph), Matt Lyczak in the Epic V10 Sport Surf Ski with a time 28:08 (6.65 mph), Danny Loental in the Epic V8 Surf Ski with a time of 32:00 (5.85 mph), Mark Stevenson in his 21’ Home Built Kayak with a time of 32:25 (5.77 mph), Robert Zhou & newcomer Elyas Ali Shaiwani setting their baseline personal best in the Men’s Tandem K2 division paddling the Epic V8 Double Surf Ski with a time of 32:56 (5.68 mph), John Cowan in the CLC Pax 20 Kayak with a time of 35:00 (5.35 mph), Brian Strange in the Wilderness Systems Focus Kayak with a time of 35:06 (5.33 mph), Dee Landau in the Think Fit Kayak with a time of 36:47 (5.09 mph), Dave Breiner in the Epic V7 Surf Ski with a time of 37:43 (4.96 mph), Dheeraj Singiresu on the 14’ Jimmy Lewis Stiletto SUP with a time of 38:24 (4.88 mph), and newcomer Kevin Lau setting his baseline personal best in the Epic V5 Surf Ski with a time of 46:17 (4.04 mph). P.S. We’re planning a weekend HD5k get together / party sometime in November before the holidays start. Maybe looking at the weekend on Nov 18th.
