Great turn out for Wednesday's race! We had 21 people race in 18 boats and 3 SUPs. First two boats came in within 15 seconds of each other, followed by the next 4 boats that all came in within 16 seconds of each other. Ron had is hands full keeping times with all these racers times so close to each other! Two racers achieved new overall personal bests for this course including Kent Shiao in the home built Skin on Frame Kayak with a time of 38:49 (4.82 mph), and Mark Morton in the Pungo 120 Kayak with a time of 40:34 (4.61 mph). Full results are attached. See you all next week!

Another good showing at the race last night! We had 18 people race in 16 boats and 2 SUPs. The headwinds / crosswinds out of the SSE made it tough for many to achieve new personal bests, but we did have a few that managed to set new divisional personal bests for this course including Dan Voss in the Epic V10 Sport Surf Ski with a time of 30:00 (6.24 mph), Bob Billings setting his baseline solo personal best in the QCC 700 Kayak with a time of 32:13 (5.81 mph), and newcomer Brandon Whitaker setting his baseline personal best in the Pelican 10 Kayak with a time of 51:30 (3.63 mph). Full results are attached with the personal bests highlighted in green. Great job everyone! And thanks to the team of time keepers / cheer leaders for taking times and keeping the racers motivated including Ron Ladzinski, Dee Landau, Josey Stone, Bill Blackledge, & Amy Coffman. Also thanks to Ron for bringing the Epic fleet, and Josey for bringing the Hobie pedal board for people to try out. See you all next week!

Just realized I forgot to post the results from last Wednesday's race.

We had a decent turn out for last Wednesday's race with 11 people racing in 5 boats and 6 SUPs, so the SUPs outnumbered the boats this week! The hot and windy conditions made it tough to achieve new personal bests, but we still had two people achieved new personal bests for this course including Laura Damewood on the 14 Pau Hana Crossfit SUP with a time of 48:04 (3.89 mph), and Ryan Ryan Thomas Haraughty on the 12 Konza SUP with a time of 53:07 (3.52 mph). Full results are attached with personal bests highlighted in green. See you all tonight!

Full results are attached with personal bests highlighted in green. Great job everyone! Thanks to Randy Hill and Dave Lopez for taking times! This was our 26th race of the season, and next week will be our 100th race since we started back in June of 2013. Lets try to get as many racers out on the water next Wednesday for the 100th HD5k race! See you all next week!
