Since you were mentioned as keeping times last night, I am planning to be at the next two hump-day races are you interested in being my tandem partner for those two races?  If you are let me know.  Everett

We have two Hump Day 5k races left this season. Hope to see as many people there as possible. For the last race of the season on Oct 21st Johnnie (DLJ) has proposed a race with handicap times based off the fastest boats racing time. So it's gonna be a fun and interesting last race of the season. I attached a link to the Facebook thread that gives more detail.

Hey everyone, just a reminder that we have two races left this season. Oct 14th and Oct 21st. The weather for tomorrow's race is looking great. Temps will be in the 70's with winds under 5mph. The final race on the 21st will be the handicap race with staggered start times based on personal bests.

I also wanted to throw out an idea to have an end of season get together at the lake on Saturday October 24th? This way we can plan to bring food, do some casual paddling, and hang out on the 24th instead of trying to do it after the final race on the 21st. We could also have a short kids race on the 24th if the weather permits. Let me know what you all think.

See you tomorrow!

Looking forward to our first race of the season tomorrow. Just a reminder that the race starts at 6 pm, so try to get out there by 5:30 so you can be on the water and ready to hit it at 6:00. It will be great to see everyone out there again, and great to welcome any newcomers as well. For reference I attached a FB link to the personal best list that shows everyone's PB in each boat / board they raced on. See you all tomorrow!

Sorry, I forgot to post the HD5k results from last week.

Looks like it was another challenging race in high winds and storms last Wednesday. Despite the less than ideal conditions, there were 14 people that raced with two racers setting personal bests for this course. New personal bests include Ryan Milby in the Epic 16X Sea Kayak with a time of 32:33 (5.75 mph), and Josey Stone setting his baseline personal best, and a course record for pedal class, in the Hobie Pro Angler 12 Peddler Kayak with a time of 45:56 (4.08 mph). Full results are attached with the personal bests highlighted in green. Great job everyone! And thanks again to Ron Ladzinski for taking times. See you all next week!
