Truthfully we had room fo 3 more paddlers. If this was to do a long race I think at least 2 more would be necessary. First time out was fun and it took us a while to get going. We will see what happens in the future. We may see ol blue show up somewhere by surprise.

I haven't been training or keeping up with posts on the forum, but this is AWESOME!!!! I want to paddle that thing!!

Dresslar, you bring it and I will paddle it.

Just looks like a PAR TAY.  I can't believe no one wanted to use that for the Kawnivore????
Cool

That thing is so cool!

Mike Clark of Big Muddy Adventures in St. Louis has one of these Clipper canoes. It's called Bob. He takes many schoolkids and families out on the Mississippi River. I really hate to say the thing is unsinkable, so I'll leave it at that.

It's also Mike's vessel of choice going through the Chain of Rocks. Here's a shot of that:

He's also got a massive cedar strip canoe (called the Junebug) that he's bringing to the Race to the Dome. He's selling tickets for a downstream float. You can sign up for a ride through Mike - www.2muddy.com or mike@2muddy.com

Here's the Junebug a few years ago at RTD:
