We don't pre register. Last year there were 65 paddlers and 45 boats.

Anyone know how the creek is looking today? Looks like a ton of rain fell out there over the last couple days.

Looked at Providence access around 1pm today - pretty full, but still around 4ft of bank/ramp. Had a couple of hard downpours since then as well. Sadly, I can't make it tomorrow - hope everyone has a fun and safe race!

Great race....cudo's to Charlie and crew

Congrats to Mike Herbert, Don Walls and the latest Los Humongous (Wally and Rocky) for ringing the bell and hitting the ramp ahead of the hoards...and all the others who made the podium.

I want to note something:

Charlie brought 6 of his cool wooden paddles to the race.  He intended to give one away, and try to sell the rest (I know because we discussed that earlier in morning)....things got confused during the awards ceremony and folks who's name were drawn started grabbing his paddles (beyond the first intended giveaway paddle).....Charlie simply smiled, shrugged his shoulders and let them all go as prizes

SmileyBrother that is class........thanks Charlie, you are stand up dude (not that you would ever paddle one of those Wink)

It was great putting faces to names I have chatted with on the message board.

Fun race yesterday - great way to start the racing season! Thanks to Charlie and everyone who made the race happen.

On another note, anyone know about how many boats races this year?

Great race yesterday. Thanks to Charley and every one who put it on. As well as the participants for making it so much fun. When or where will the race standings be posted?

Just gonna throw it out there, that anyone who mistakenly picked up a Thetis paddle, and would like to return it to Charlie, I'll happily offer you the life vest I picked up as a consolation, since the odds are my name never would have been called had we all not misunderstood the intent there. (PM me)
Great race to all involved btw, and huge thanks to Charlie and all others that helped put it on.
