Veteran Upgrades Here (Read 6418 times)

Please reply to this thread for your veteran upgrade.  This is the easiest way for me to move through them quickly.  Don't email the request as then I have to come here anyway and find your name.  MUCH easier for you to just post here. 

Only one record broken this year and that was women's tandem.  New records to SUP and men's pedal drive, I believe.

Ground crews apply here too!  As well as race volunteers and safety boat pilots.  We're all in this together and we all did a great job executing another SAFE MR340.

Katie Pfefferkorn will be helping me knock these upgrades out.  I'm going to bed now, but will tackle them in the morning.  So pile them up here for me!  Looking forward to it.

Katie will also be updating the top 10 lists on the records page.  We do have some new top 10 times!  Congrats.  As well as some new names for the under 50 hours club.  NOT an easy task.

Soon we'll have some announcements about 2012.  Those still holding vouchers will receive instructions for signing up December 1-30.  Everyone else gets their chance New Year's Eve.  Looking for 340 boats to make the journey.

Caught up through here!  Also note, even if you didn't make it to St. Charles, you are still a veteran for the 2011 campaign.  Pulling out of the race when the time is right, is the sign of a smart veteran paddler.

I could use an upgrade for the 340. What a perfect race weather wise. Thankfully we got just about zero rain, very little fog, and good temps. The trees were in peak color and wind was minimal. Who ever ordered the weather good work!

Some how I lost my kawlloween status.

This was my last 340 for awhile. I will get on a safety boat or man a check point next year but I'm out for at least 2012. I should be able to make some short races happen but I will still be shootin down to st chuck every no and again on sundays.

Thanks to all for an absolutely great race!  We have come to expect that this will be the well run event it always is.  We will try not to take anyone for granted.  A shout out of thanks to all the volunteers and especially our friend Darren (GUS) Parr.

Upgrade please for Mark and Brigitte Scott;  Ground crew for Gary Jeffries.
