Foot Pedal Bilge system?? (Read 804 times)

I saw several boats, including the 5 man with foot operated bilge systems.  seemed very simple and worked well.  Can someone tell me where to get these?

I was in that boat and I was in one of the seats that these were located, I found it very easy to operate and kept most of the water out with little effort, we also had battery operated pumps incase we took on alot of water.  Anyway we rented this boat from Spencer canoes in Texas and it was already fitted with these pumps so you might give them a call, I don't think he installed them but could sure put you on the right path.

I have the long bellow variety in my Thunderbolt T-Rex:

You can find these in some New Zealand-made boats. I had one in my Ruahine Firebolt.

Just to follow on this topic ... the bilge system I referenced above worked well at moving out the water my boat took on as I got in and out of it ... oh ... 15 or so times during last year's Kawnivore.
