Please tell Barton not to worry. It is better to graduate from UofM. I graduated from "FU". No, that was not from the show on tv "Friends" It was Friends University"

Don't worry, if you are thinking it, I have probably already heard it.

Still a great education though.

Very interesting articles.
The most interesting was from 25 February 2010 | Written by Rob Mousley :
Rob is obviously a well educated and experienced in fluid dynamics. He makes many excellent points about how water moves around a hull.
The part that made me start thinking was when he mentioned boundary layers and in-phase and out-of-phase sound waves.
If I put a good stereo in my canoe and adjust the frequency range to counter-act the boundary layers, how much increase in speed can I expect. I assume this would work similar to noise cancelling headphones where a counter wave is created to offset the undesirable wave.
Should I mount my speakers in the front, middle or back of the boat. If I put them on the hull floor, should I mount them with the speakers facing up, or facing down. Other then weight, would the size of the speaker magnet make any difference. What do you think about the new Jambox from Jawbone.
Sorry, I'm just thinking outloud. I'm just a simple country boy from southern Missouri.
